First-Service Terms
Last updated: April 23, 2026
GreaseGrid may offer the first Compliance Coordination at no charge for new accounts. If that offer applies to your account, these terms explain exactly what it covers, what it does not, and what happens on your next service.
What the free first service covers
The free first service waives GreaseGrid's Compliance Coordination fee for one scheduled service. There is no credit card on file at sign-up, and there are no recurring charges. You can use the free service and never pay GreaseGrid a cent if you choose not to schedule again.
The free service covers the GreaseGrid fee only. The vendor who performs the pumping bills you directly for their service — typically $175 to $475 or more depending on trap size, location, and disposal rates. The vendor's charge is separate, is disclosed before you confirm the booking, and is collected by the vendor at time of service (or per the vendor's net terms). GreaseGrid does not collect, mark up, or refund the vendor's pumping charge.
Your second service
The first paid service after the free one is billed at the account's plan tier. By default, new accounts are on Pay-As-You-Go ($79 per scheduled service). If your account qualifies for a discount tier, your rate drops accordingly:
- Pay-As-You-Go — $79 per service (default, no commitment)
- Professional — $59 per service for 1–3 locations
- Portfolio — $49 per service for 4–10 locations
Professional and Portfolio are account flags, not subscriptions. No recurring charge, nothing to cancel. If you go 90 days without a scheduled service, the account auto-reverts to Pay-As-You-Go; schedule another service and the prior tier is automatically restored.
Why we do this
FOG compliance work is repetitive and most operators only feel the pain once a year, usually when a notice arrives. The free first service is how we demonstrate what the packet looks like and whether our coordination is worth paying for on the next one. There is no auto-enrollment, no trial countdown, and no stored card. If the packet is not useful to you, you owe us nothing.
